One must understand that desire, the craving for something, the
ambition to possess anything at all, comes from what our physical senses
take in from the outer environment. So, this says that all our desires
(good or bad, healthy or unhealthy) are a product of the world, what's
out there, and the thoughts or ideas created in your mind based on what
you see or know about the world.
You are above desires of ANY kind, you can rule and control the desires you follow. If a desire takes over your whole mind, all the time, and it affects your behavior, you should study that desire and see if it builds you or stops you from elevating yourself and your life.
Sometimes desires can be blocking our path to success, or blinding us to the deeper truth of things/the things that can aid us in growing as human beings.
You must make sure you watch vigilantly your desires and emanate that self-control and powerful persona onto others as well.
