Out of your head.

“All lives have triumphs and tragedies, laughter and tears, and mine has been no different. What really matters is whether, after all of that, you remain strong and a comfort to your loved ones. I have tried to meet that test.” ~ Pat Nixon; First Lady of the United States from 1969 to 1974.
“It is not living that matters, but living rightly.” ~ Socrates.

People get so caught up in their heads, in their problems, in their ideas not being recognized, in their obsessions, that they forget to live each moment with joy and understanding.

The value we can find in living the moment with integrity and comprehension cannot be compared with anything else; and that is because your life’s wealth is not in what you pursue or even in what you can fix of a certain problem with much work and dedication, but it is in each moment which you live mindfully by knowing that you do your best and that you do it unselfishly.

And being present also means being thankful for what you have and for the people around you; this is the best and the only way you find the true value in life.  Because, even though society may bombard us with “buy this, buy that,” “Go to church and praise some bearded lunatic up in the skies,” “Get married and have lots of kids,” “Work hard and make lots of money,” and all this garbage, what truly matters is that you live rightly and to the best of yourself so you can give the best example.

It is extremely important that you can see the truth in this, and that you can be free to stay in the truth and get out of your own head.  Leave the stress and the problems and live in the moment, in reality, knowing that the true experience of life’s value is in the Now.

“Be happy for this moment. This moment is your life.” ~ Omar Khayyam; Persian mathematician, astronomer, and poet.

The patient one.

“Never cut a tree down in the wintertime.  Never make a negative decision in the low time.  Never make your most important decisions when you are in your worst moods.  Wait.  Be patient.  The storm will pass.  The spring will come.” ~ Robert H. Schuller; American Christian televangelist, pastor, motivational speaker, and author.
“There is something good in all seeming failures.  You are not to see that now.  Time will reveal it.  Be patient.” ~ Swami Sivananda; Hindu spiritual teacher and a proponent of Yoga and Vedanta.

We all understand that the origin of wisdom is not the mind of man, seat of the ego, but the heart, not the heart as in the muscle but the heart as the subconscious, Infinite Intelligence, where all true love emerges and fills our cellular make-up.

To rush into things, to prematurely act and make decisions, to say without thinking, to react, is not wisdom from the heart but ego activity from the mind; therefore, when it comes to good decisions and behaviors to better our lives and ourselves, rushing into things is to deny wisdom, it is to purposefully ignore our divine trait of patience.

One must understand that patience is indeed divine, because everything that happens, when it happens, whether you understand it or not at the moment, has a divine purpose, and you must be patient and trust that purpose.
Don’t try to understand it or analyze it, because your mind is limited in that regard; just be patient and trust the process.

There is no greater wisdom than to be patient, so breathe, calm your mind, before you rush into something, anything; but specially if it is about some great move or change in your life.

Remember, patience is divine; it means we all have it within ourselves.  So, do not look for excuses and say that you cannot use patience or that you don’t have it; because you do have it, but you might just choose to be too ego-centered to reach for that patience within yourself.  Know your own nonsense.

Awaken and hunt!

“Today I choose life. Every morning when I wake up I can choose joy, happiness, negativity, pain. To feel the freedom that comes from being able to continue to make mistakes and choices; but today I choose to feel life, not to deny my humanity but embrace it.”  ~ Kevyn Aucoin; American make-up artist, photographer and author.

We all have gifts and talents, and we were given the opportunity in this time, in this era, in this life period, to live this physical life to find them in each one of us; but, sadly, many people ignorantly look for them outside of themselves, and thus they never find anything which can bring them true happiness.

But you, as an awakening and wise person, must not waste your time here on this earth, look within you for whatever is for you expressing your unique self, freeing your spirit and being truly you. That is the whole point of this life. And if you can’t understand that then you will never find true and constant happiness.

To be here on this planet and fully live and enjoy life means to be present, which means you observe before you judge and complain, you learn what experiences may want to teach you before you get angry with life, you pay attention to what is happening around you in the present moment and not dwell in past memories or visions of the future.

The reality of life is that you must be present, focused on the moment of Now; so, live and enjoy wisely, follow your goals and love without fear, respect yourself enough to give yourself chances to become better, find your true passions and gifts within yourself. And for all this, again, be present, because happiness is now, in the present and not in the past or in the future.

Whether you think of an afterlife or not doesn’t matter, your beliefs don’t matter; the only thing that matters is reality, which is that you were born to be happy and successful in whatever you choose to do; but you do have to work at it with heart and intelligence, patiently, wisely, because you have been given time for a reason–i.e., so you can regroup your thoughts, discipline yourself, and learn to create your path.

So, mind your time on this earth, be patient, do not rush into things, plan and analyze what you are going to do, but be constant and do not waste your time.
As long as you are alive, you have a chance to better your life.

Higher standards.

"You can't please everyone. When you're too focused on living up to other people's standards, you aren't spending enough time raising your own. Some people may whisper, complain and judge. But for the most part, it's all in your head. People care less about your actions than you think. Why? They have their own problems!" ~ Kris Carr; American health author, wellness activist, and cancer survivor.

"Any time you sincerely want to make a change, the first thing you must do is to raise your standards. When people ask me what really changed my life eight years ago, I tell them that absolutely the most important thin was changing what I demanded of myself. I wrote down all the things I would no longer accept in my life, all the things I would no longer tolerate, and all the things that I aspired to becoming." ~ Tony Robbins; American author, entrepreneur, philanthropist and life coach.

Most people in this world act like they do not like themselves, as they dumb themselves down for other people just to fit in with the fools of a group, whether family or friends, and as they engage in their own depressive thinking while putting themselves down in front of a mirror also; thus lowering their own standards to mediocrity and self-pity every day more and more.

25507813_400644110368957_7845411035457432798_n

They are like beggars asking for love and attention, mistreating themselves and belittling themselves and their lives; consequently, this shrinks the human mind and brings all sorts of distortions of reality.

And because you cannot see reality now, namely that you can do more and be more for yourself, you drown in your own ego while you distance yourself from all self-love which can help you experience all happiness.

There is no more love you can have towards yourself than self-respect, because this self-respect creates mighty confidence and strength from within so you can say no to lower standards in the world, so you can raise yourself above those negative thoughts you may have and the inferior influence from people around you.

So, remind yourself that self-discipline in this is to love yourself and care enough to create the greatest life for you.  Worry and work on yourself, do not listen to others.  You are THE ONLY creator of your life.
